Award Recognizes Exceptional Customer Service to Premier U.S. Defense Contractor

Champlin, MN—McLean Cooling Technology has received a 2008 Customer Service Award from Northrop Grumman for exceptional performance on critical Homeland Defense contracts.  The award, presented to McLean on July 23, 2008 at Northrop Grumman, recognizes select vendors who play a critical role in helping the company successfully fulfill its U.S. government and other major contracts.

Northrop Grumman selected McLean to provide the cooling solution for the Biohazard Detection System (BDS) developed for the U.S. Postal Service. Part of the project’s challenge included managing the heat-load generated from the sensitive electronics utilized in the system and from varying environmental conditions.
